Who I am
I'm Yuliya Halavachova, an AI Engineering Manager at a global enterprise software company, with 15+ years in tech and hands-on hiring experience in the UK. I lead a team of 15 engineers and own delivery of GenAI and agentic AI products for an enterprise platform with 2,500+ enterprise customers — from system design and the first enterprise GA release to the evaluation framework and testing strategy now used as the company-wide standard. Before that, I was Data Science Lead (Head-level) at a global advisory firm in London, leading a team of up to 7 engineers on LLM, NLP and recommendation-system projects.
I hold an MSc in Data Science with Distinction from the University of Sussex, with deep expertise in LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic AI, AI evaluation, MLOps and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
I'm the founder of UltraScout AI, a company working on AI-powered brand visibility and AEO/GEO-optimised content. I teach AI masterclasses at Capital City College London and write the LinkedIn newsletter “The AI Search Frontier 2026” — on how AI is changing search, hiring and tech careers. I also run a Russian-language YouTube channel about life and work in London with 15,000+ subscribers.
Career coaching grows out of my day job: I hire, so I know what recruiters and hiring managers actually look for, where candidates go wrong, and how to present experience for the role you want. I work with tech professionals and with people in other fields — teachers, accountants, lawyers, marketers, managers, HR — in the UK, Europe, the US and Canada. I help them move into AI, grow in their profession with AI and land the right job, including Skilled Worker and Global Talent Visa strategy for the UK.
